Junkyard mods for 1.6 SOHC?

Post by greenstorm »

My friend has a 1.6 SOHC MX-3 and he was wondering what upgrade parts from other cars he can use. I heard that escort GT throttle bodies will work, so we're gonna slap one of those on there, but is there anything else that i should look for at a junkyard?
what kind of car IS that?

they will work but use a mazda protege 90-94 1.8 LX but if friends car is auto make sure the TBody is auto if manual make sure is manual. look around for a 87-88 mass air flow meter that big metal box. look at my signature has a list of mods i have done. hope that help if not happy to help out laters

i don't think there is a difference but i rather put mazda parts anyway here in Tx in the juckyards there hardly any escort GT lots of protege LX that i find in the juckyards. the TB will work from the escort Gt on the sohc mx-3.
