gear box fluid/transmission fluid

Post by Ant_nee03 »

Ok this may sound like a stupid question... but is getting your gear box fluid changed the same as getting your transmission fluid changed if the car is a standard?

I'm not totally sure so I didn't wanna waste my time. Thnx for any and all help in advance. :confused2:

I believe the phrase gearbox means differnt things depending on the area your from. Where I live people call it that. But ya can't go wrong if ya call it the MTX fluid.

Hope this helps you. I was'nt sure quite what you needed to know.

Peace Gary

gearbox/tranny are the same thing. there are only two places for oil in a fwd car. motor and tranny.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.
