preformance updates for the 1.6

Post by violent_J_54021 »

I was wondering what kind of preformance updates I could do to the 1.6 DOHC. I have a budget of around 800 dollars, and I have already put a cold air intake, and pacesetter exhaust. I was thinking along the lines of dome pistons of something like that. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

with him having the DOHC, it'll cost a little more than $800 to complete a b6t swap.

i say save up to do that or a bpt swap, or...

get a b6t turbo/manifold and go from there.

yah if your planning on going turbo, then either turbo your existing motor and make more power than a B6T swap, or put in the BPT well worth the money. not worth swaping in a B6T on an MX DOHC platform. just as much work as the BPT.
