A few questions...

Post by sapper »

Ok. I'm gonna get straight to the point....

1) My car idles between 500 and 200 RPM after it warms up. When I come to a stop, it shudders like its about to stall, but never does. The idle will jump to a point just high enough to keep it running. What could be causing the problem??

2) Where is the Oxygen Sensor??? The online manual seems to have disapreared.

3) Where did the online manual go?

4) Where is the Fuel Filter? I'm looking for it.. but dont knew what to look for..... Again. The online manual has disapeared.

Thanks in advance!

You have 2 o2 sensors one is located on the exhaust manifold(header) right behind the radiator it has 1 wire coming out of it. the secound is located behind the cat and looks the same. They got rid of the online shop manual do to copyright restrictions, but you can find one on ebay for usually under $20 bucks U.S. as for the fuel filter I'm not sure. and if it is the o2 sensor your check engine light usually comes on.

Hope this helps.

This is just off memory (from chilton manual) but on the 95 DOHC the fuel filter is the black canister sitting in the back of the engine compartment (sitting slightly to the passangers side). Hope the configurations are the same.
