Multipe Spark Distribution, that is how my broblem is called , i just bought a MSD Ignition Control a (6AL) and i have no real idea about instaling it. I kind of have an idea but the directions that came with it aren't specific for the MX-3. I have to ask you guys for help, any information about it's instalation would be helpful, If u know how to hook this up to a 93 4cil SOCH MX-3 , than email me at plusinfinit@yahoo.com
Thanks.

Re: MSD instalation?
OK stuff you need:
MSD Coil: Get a matching coil(blaster2) so the new ignition can do its job. $35
MSD Coil bracket: you need to hang the coil with something. $5
MSD Tach adapter: MSD P/N 8910. $25
MSD:
thick red - Pos batery
thick black - Neg batery or ground
red - Ignition switch. thick BLU wire. tap do NOT cut
orange - coil+
black - coil-
white - GRN/WHT wire going to the igniter on the stock coil bracket.
Tach Adapter:
white: You need to run a new tach wire See Below
Red: Put in between switched wire and MSD red wire
Tach wire:
1. Take all the screws out of from under the steering column
2. Remove the bottom and top plastic pieces for the column
3. Take the 3 screws out of the top of the gauge trim and remove it
4a. Remove the 4 screws holding in the cluster and tilt it to the side
4b. Grab the speedo cable and squeeze the clip and pull out *don't move the car
5. Find the blue/yellow wire and clip it
6. Run new wire from the tach plug BLU/YEL to the MSD
7. Splice the GRN/WHT and the new tach wire together then connect to the tach adapter
8. Connect MSD to the tach adapter.
9. Test the tach by starting car *don't drive it
10. Reassemble everything and remember the speedo cable!
This should get you running.
