in the FAQ section you say that the touch button is for static so you dont get shocked.is that right?

Yes that is correct, it gets rid of static so as you don't get shocked whilst closing the door.<P>EVERYBODY who gets in my car ask me what the %^*&^ they're supposed to touch that for. <P>BTW, does anybody actually know how that works? It seems to be plastic, so I can't figure out how it works.

theres actually a ground wire so yes technically it should work

i thought ppl said it downshifts?.....i tried it while going up a hill and then it lowered its rpm's and then at the top of the hill it went back to normal.....

thats the hold button not the touch button. omg lol.. hold and touch, is mazda gay or what . If you wanna make your car REALLY rice you could always change them into nitrous buttons lol

I wouldnt say the Hold button for NOS would be gay, I'd think it just be descreat. <BR>What they dont know, will hurt them.
