replacing headlight BULB

Post by TopGun »

Hi guys,
My passenger side headlight is out - I'm hoping its the bulb, rather than the relay/switch/wiring. It works fine on "bright" but on regular - no dice.
Anyone know if this is a complicated repair or is that page of the shop manual online?
Roberto

Could be the buld...do you have xenon bulbs in your car by any chance? If so and you have the 100/80 watt bulbs there is a possibility of some burnage. In my old precidia i burnt the hotwire (middle wire) on both sockets which caused only my brights to work. All i did was drill out the middle of the socket and connect the wire directly to the bulb and problem solved. has been fine for a year now i believe.
