Dont know if this helps but actually today i removed my center panel where the ebrake is to get out the little black piece so I can put my switch for my neons there and I say a bolt on the ebrake cable my ebrake was loose and sometimes didn't work so the car would roll I just tightened it and all is fine again maybe you have to loosen it?
