HELP! BAD tranny leak question

Post by 92RedMX3 »

Ok i have had a really bad tranny leak and as such i have kept the car parked. I got the bright idea about where it could be and I just wanna check to see if I am right. The Drivers side half shaft going into the trany has a lot of play. Like a 1/4" to it, i mean it moves. The other side has barely any play to it at all. Should the drivers side have so much play to it? The passanger side felt like I expected but the other side didnt. Whatcha think?

Have you done a lot of burn or made one wheel spin faster then the other in winter. If yes you may have a trouble with the differential. It's not uncommun on mazda transmission
