PERFORMANCE UPGRAES?!?!?

Post by FLYLOW »

Ladies and Gents,
This is my first post to the forum and I'm so glad that you are all here. I have just purchased a 95 MX-3 with only 60xxx on it. It has the 4 cyl 1.6 engine. I am interested specifically if anyone knows what type of cold air intakes systems are available, fuel chips, and header/exhaust systems are available for my car. It is peppy now but I'd love to increase the horses without sacraficing the fuel consumption (with turbos and the like). Thanks a ton. Post here or e-mail me at FLYLOW22@aol.com

I know your a new guy, start by using the "Search" feature on the board. that has been asked on many occasions, im sure there will be no problem with it. Also, read MX-3.com. Most of you parts are listed on the site.
Welcome to the board,

Thanks man!!

I guess specifically I was wondering what systems are good out there and which ones I should steer clear of. You know... trial and error experience from the masters. What cold air intake has worked well for others? Are there headers available for the 4 cyl factory engine? Etc. Etc.
Thanks guys.

U can get a prm intake at www.prmracing.com and you can get a header at www.corksport.com. I personally made my intake outta a 92 accord intake. It works pretty sweet and cost less than the prm.
