injectors upgrade

Post by dam2009 »

does anybody upgraded their fuel injectors?<BR>I though about the stock 440cc from eclipse or 470 but at the speed shop they priced me about 250$ a piece! and not even sure if they will fit ...

there's no need to upgrade them unless you have a turbo or nitrous.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.

unless you have a power adder(turbo, s/c, nitrous) that has the potential to create a lean situation(more oxygen than fuel), there is no need for upgrading. along with that, if you are not adding more air(new intake doesn't count) then you will not notice any gains in performance with bigger injectors. there's a chance of running rich(too much fuel) which can hurt performance. but if you really think it helps, by all means, upgrade them. afterwards, please post some numbers(dyno) to show the improvement.
