Re: confusion :S
the b6t is rated between 130-150hp depending on what spec. you get.(j-spec=150hp) most people get the n.american version. the bpt is rated at 180 or 210 depending on if it's the gtx or gtr. it's next to impossible to find a gtr motor. and once you do, getting it here isn't worth the hassle. i found one but by the time i bought it and got it shipped here from aust. it would have been cheaper to get the motor i have now(gtx bpt) and add things to make it superior to the gtr. i have yet to see any north american engine importers with a gtr motor.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.

Re: confusion :S
so which one has more potential? I have lots of money to sink into an mx-3 right now, and I was looking at V6's but I seen the guy with 450 and thought aww hell why don't I try to get that much, but 300 would be lots

Re: confusion :S
the gt-r has sodium filled exhaust valves, equal length exhaust manifold, ball bearing turbo, two-step fuel pressure reg, i believe a slightly higher cr...not much though. the only real advantage is the ball bearing turbo.(which you can get the manifold and turbo upgrade from corksport)<p>[ May 18, 2002: Message edited by: cre8v mx3 ]

Re: confusion :S
yes, i've seen that site quite a few times. there are a couple of sites that i've seen that have conflicting designations as to what motor is what.
