In need of major help

Who can tell me what's wrong. I have to jump off my car now everytime I want to turn it on. When I press the brake my radio cuts off and the speedometer drops to zero. Know my lights flick when I'm driving, and the battery seems to be completely dead. Is my alternator shot or is it that my battery is dead??

check ur alt. belt. otherwise its ur alt. b/c ur battery would just have trouble starting, but then onse the alternator startd with the engine, the battery would be charged. check ur wiring and ur belts before you repace the alternator.
