apexi dunk muffler

hey all, im thinking about purchasing the universal apexi dunk muffler, and had some questions that maybe someone could help me with. I was wondering if anyone has this muffler on their 4cyl mx3 and how the fitment is and the sound? Also i am planning on getting custom 2inch piping. Any other thoughts are welcome, thaks for your time and sorry for the long post<P>chris 93RS

I'm also getting 2" piping soon. Are you keeping the stock cat and res? Sorry,I can't help you about the muffler.

hey, i am going to keep the stock cat, but i havent decided if i am going to use the stock res or just get rid of the res all together. what are your thoughts?<P>chris 93RS

Welll, I don't wanna be to loud so I guees I'm gonna keep the stock res unless I can find the money to get a high flow res and cat.

umm, for the 1.6....1.75" piping would probably be better. Just my 2 cents.

hey kit996, how is the fitment of the dunk muffler? the canisters not to big to fit good? also do you happen to have any pics of what it looks like on the mx3? I just don't want the tip to point on an angle downward , if that makes any sense. well tahnks for all the help. also protegests, thanks for your suggesion of 1.75 inch piping, iv read all the other posts you have made and you seem too know what your talkin about, so ill most likely go with that size piping. thanks again for all the help everyone. peace out<P>chris 93RS

well, i dont have the pic now, but u dont have to worry about the canister. it fits ok to my car. also, my tip doesnt point on an angel downward. anyway, i'll try to take a picture then send to u later. <p>[ December 29, 2001: Message edited by: Kit996 ]
