Performance Questions (again)

Post by Shady469 »

is there any mazda that doesn't have a damn MAF sensor? if so can i adapt the ecu to my SOHC? or is there a higher flowing MAF sensor that I can adapt? Has any one found any parts to re-enforce their engines i.e. cams, pistons, rods?
The revs: after 5,500 rpm it seems like their is no power but the engine sounds like its got a little bit of juice left. will headers, a high flow cat, 2" piping, and a strait muffler help get a few more ponies out of it before it falls out of the powerband? if not what will?
I'm just sick of riding in my friends CRX Si and feeling like the engine gets a boost @ 5,500 and doesnt quit till like 7,000.
thank you
