That's great to see some more support. PLEASE send them an email. The link is in one of my replies at the top of this post. I advised them that they probably would not get a flood of emails, but rather more of a trickle. I also advised them that more people want them, but just won't take the time to email them. I WANT to see this header made.

Thanks for the info. It has been a long time since I was on Corksport.com. I cannot seem to find ANY information on this Hurricane company. It sounds like a crappy brand. Can you find a website or contact info for them?

hurricane doesn't have a web site, but i assume corksport can tell you all you need to know about them. they make decent headers for the v6, so the 4-cyl ones are probably good as well. plus CS told me that they were dyno testing them at hurricane for like 3 months before they were available for sale...

I have a custom-made header from a shop that makes them for race cars. I had the car back in 6 hours.
We traced the flange for the new header using the metal gasket.
The header has been with me for a year and a half.
It's not pretty and shiny, but it works. Dynos have nothing to do with it. Just look at the SOHC stock header and you will know that anything is an improvement compared to that.
I'll have it up for sale once my turbo is up and running.
In fact, I'll take a picture of it today and post it tomorrow.
See ya!

There is more to making a header than just bending tubes, welding it together, and making it bolt up to the head. I am sure that a header that was made after researching and DYNO testing would win in a so-called "Pepsi Challenge" with a header that was fabricated by a muffler shop.
not trying to pick an arguement but does a company like ss dyno their products or they just make shiny alternatives...?
