Post by Shady469 »

Does any one know the diff. in hp between the oem parts and the jdm?? does any one know where i can find any jdm/ j-spec parts? also!!! does any one know how interchangable the miata and mx-3(92 1.6l) parts are? i.e. would headers/ a Greddy turbo kit fit??? thanks in advance.

i dont think that any parts will work with the sohc. dohc will.- header will not fit but the turbo manifold and turbo will, downpipe will have to be fabricated. as for interchangeability. the 1.6l dohc is the same. all cyl. head parts will work so will rods and pistons. as for jdm i have no idea. overboost.com has all the cyl head parts you will need as well as a $1500.00 street legal turbo kit. hope this helps.<p>[ September 30, 2001: Message edited by: boostedmx ]

$1500?!? That is really good. I can't believe I've never heard of all these parts being interchangable. This opens an entire new perspective on performance for my MX-3!!
