Two BPturbo??

Post by Brainless »

On www.corksport.com, in the j-spec engine section, they sell two different 1.8l turbo. One for 990$ with 180hp and the other from a 323 GTX for 1875$ with 210 hp. The first one is alot cheaper even for what you get. From what car this engine was taken?
------------------
Brainless
93 Red RS
geocities.com/j_micho (last update 30/07/2001)

Hers my guess...
The first one is the 88-91 323 GTX turbo. The 180 HP one.
The second one is the Familia GTR engine. 92-94 japanese turbo engine. 210 HP sounds about right.
But im just guessing here....
Elena, don't misunderstand. A pro isn't someone who sacrifices themselves for their job. That is just a fool.

The BPT engine was installed in the Protege during the'90-94 [or thereabouts] model year; I think that it was a Japan specific engine but I'm not too sure***Manny

The 180hp BPT is from the '90+ GTX in Japan, the 210hp BPT is from the '90+ GTR. Up until '89 the GTX was only available with the b6t.
