Got a reply to the e-mail I had sent to that company:

quote:
"You need to get with whoever is coordinating this. We will look at doing a project but there needs to be a primary contact who takes care of all the orders. We have not been contacted yet."

So, I guess the contact would be you, DJPRO, right?

I just sent an e-mail to Lo-Tek Inc. telling them that I'll be the primary coordinator. I'll be waiting for there reply and contact you guys and gals as soon as I hear from them. As for the gauges itself, they should be two or three gauges a pillar. The non-auto MX-3 pillar currently goes for $39.99.
I still need 20 people. So please, if you are interested write to this forum for now. This is a great add on to your vehicle especially if you have a Hybrid MX-3.
Thanx,
Dee. :)

Aiden. Yeah if your shoulder belt (not the lap belt) retracts back when you turnon the car then your seatbelt is automatic.

It's great to see that we almost have 20 people but I have not received a reply from them. I just sent them another e-mail if they don't answer back by the end of this week I'll give them a call.
Thanx,
Dee. ;)

Well folks this is what they said "If you want to get started we need you to send in an a-pillar for us to evaluate and make a mock up. Only after the 20+ paid orders are received can we begin production. ETA from that point is now 3-4 months" I'll send them a-pillar but they didn't tell me how much it gonna cost us. If we don't get 20 people I'm willing to pay for the rest of them and sell them on e-Bay. I'll keep you guys updated as soon as I get word.
later,
Dee. ;)

You could always mold a pillar pod on. I used an RX-7 (I don't recommend) but if you find a pillar pod with relatively the same width, bondo away and mold it. I'll post pics up soon.

Here is another e-mail from the company
Send to Lo-Tek, Inc, 328 Crestview Dr., Durham, NC 27712. We can't give a price until we see and evaluate it but most cost $45-$55. It would be better if you oversee collecting the money so you can maintain control and make sure the minimum is achieved. For those who are still interested please e-mail me at DJPRO24@AOL.COM with your name address and telephone number. Once I receive your info. and count to see how many people are seriously interested. I will determine if I should go forward with this project. If I don't have enough support, I will have to stop going forward. Like I said before, I'm willing to buy the rest of the pillars but there is so many I can afford.
I sent the company a pillar, now it is to you guys and gals to get this done.
thanx,
Dee.
