wtb: seat belt track

Post by Acamori »

i'm in need of the track that runs above the left door for the auto seatbelt. mine jammed up and won't move and i'm not willing to take the track apart until i have one i know works. the motor runs fine. if anyone has at least the track and the spool attached to it let me know, if you wanna leave the motor on it as well that's fine too (makes life easier if you do)

Just take it to your nearest mazda dealer. Mine jammed up a few months ago and they fixed it for free under recall.

i just checked with my mazda dealer, turns out the person who owned the car before me already had the belt fixed by the recall in 2000 and the warranty was only a 12 month one. so once again, i'm looking for the track since i won't buy it from the dealer.

Are you sure. Print this info off and take it to your Mazda dealer. It says something about lifetime warranty. If thats the case, they HAVE to do it.

Ya My dealer did the same thing. They are just lazy. It says if you have a 92-93 there is a recall and they put the 94+ ones in which have a lifetime garuntee. Just call BS and if they don't do it threaten to call the bettere business buero. That always gets em antzi.
