1993 MX-3 GS for Sale.
I have for sale a 1993 mazda Mx-3 Gs for sale. It is a 5sp. It has 98k on the body, but a used 63K K8 motor was put in a month ago. It has a new timing belt, belt tensioner, drive belts, fuel filter, air filter, outer tie rod, timing belt pulleys, clutch, and maybe a few more things I can't remember right now. I bought this car with a blown motor, with the intention of keeping it, however, I need some cash and this is my 4th car. It runs awesome! Don't worry about the motor swap or the clutch being un-professionally installed, I am an ASE certified mechanic. Nothing was butched or done half-assed. I had every intent on keeping this car, so it was done right, to my expectations. It is white, and the body is very good. There is just a little bit of surface rust on the front of the hood from chips, but that is it. There is a patch of paint missing just in-front of the moonroof about the size of a silver dollar. Damn ford paint anyway! The interior is flawless, no rips tears or any blemishes. Power windows locks A/C cruise tilt a/m f/m cassette, power moonroof, spoiler. This is a fun car to drive, and I would hate to see it go. Gas mileage is around 20 if you drive it nicely, but drops to around 16 if you don't shift until 4500 rpm's in every gear. I live in Omaha, NE And would be willing to maybe meet halfway, or ship for you. E-mail me with any ?'s bdiddy1974@hotmail.com

Forgot to mention tires are about 40 percent, and there is a crack in the front windshield, nothing major, just 2 lines.

Re: 1993 MX-3 GS for Sale.
Sorry again! The place I got the motor from quoted me the compression test when I bought the motor. Being the skeptic I am I performed my own compression and leak down tests. The compression is as follows, and was accurate on their end.
Cylinder 1 170
Cylinder 2 168
Cylinder 3 170
Cylinder 4 168
Cylinder 5 170
Cylinder 6 168
Cylinder 1 170
Cylinder 2 168
Cylinder 3 170
Cylinder 4 168
Cylinder 5 170
Cylinder 6 168

If you are ASE certified, then it wasn't installed "unprofessionally", was it?Originally posted by Mr. LeMans:

If you read it correctly, it says "Don't worry about the motor swap or the clutch being un-professionally installed, I am an ASE certified mechanic." I think that is saying it was professionally done, right?

I do have some pics of this if anyone is interested, please e-mail. I am taking all offers, and also will possibly take a trade plus some cash, if someone wants to trade up from a 4cyl. to a V6.
Thanks,
Brad
