check engine light?

Hey guys I’ve got strange thing going on with my check engine light.<BR>It comes on maybe once a month or a few weeks stays on for a little while and goes off,<BR>while it is on my car runs fine but idles as if it would stole but it does not. Now my check engine light goes on only when rpms are below 2000 mark if they higher it goes off it does it for a while and then it goes away as if nothing happened for another month.<BR>Any idea what it could be? <BR>Any input is greatly appreciated.

ive got that exact same problem man, it will idle kinda low, but always catch itself, and the engine light comes on for no reason, im gonna get my dads mechanis buddy to check it out.

i have the same problem. at stops, my check engine or hold button would flash, but would dissapear on high rpms. it's because my airbox is hooked up incorrectly...the ram tubes are not connected.

I had this problem with my 94 GS several years ago. Would almost stall out when idling. Had to keep my foot on the gas at stop lights. Then pop the clutch - looked like a shifting novice. Ran fine when driving. Check engine light came on then would go out. It turned out to be a leak in a vaccuum hose.

i have a feeling my problem might be with the airbox thing, cuz just before i bought the car, the guy had replaced the airbox, but since he thought he was super mechanic and could do everything himself, he hooked it up, probably f---ing it up in the process, ah well, HKS intake, here we come,
