F/S: Black '92 GS--DC/Balto Area

Post by slogar »

I’m moving across the country and sadly cannot bring my MX-3, so it must go. 1992 GS, black. 140K miles. 1.8 L stock V-6 runs strong. Drives/handles well. Aftermarket intake (stock airbox replaced with K&N style filter by PO so I don’t have the stock parts). Kenwood AM/FM cassette with detachable face. Power steering, brakes, locks, windows, moonroof all work (moonroof slow to close, but does). Light 14” Miata alloys with 185/60 tires (all good--3 Goodyear Eagle GPS, 1 Defender Sport due to recent blowout in middle of nowhere). I bought the car 2 years ago, and have put 17K miles on it. In this time, I’ve replaced the following parts: rear brake rotors, all brake pads, clutch, disty, timing belt, water pump, cap, rotor, wires (NGK), plugs, left ball joint/wheel bearing, resonator/rear pipe/oem muffler (a nearly-new ss free-flow muffler comes with car if buyer wants it). Have all receipts to prove work. Minor seepage around valve covers (plugs are not fouling). Paint’s OK, light scratch on driver’s side, key abrasion, some small dings and road rash and a couple of minor thumbnail-sized rust spots; moonroof a little faded (polish/wax would probably fix it). Rear tint has some little missing spots. Trunk interior plastic trim and cover missing since I bought it. Seats have cosmetic issues (wear and tear) but support is still firm. Windshield washers not working. AC not working (I really don’t know what’s wrong here—I don’t use AC so I never had it looked at by a mechanic). Has the cursed MX-3 low idle/rich mixture once warmed up—I figure it’s a vacuum leak but never got around to fixing because it drives good otherwise and well, now I have to move. Dependable and very fun car. Great highway driver. $1900 US. Car located near Washington DC beltway (I-495) in College Park, MD, 2 blocks from Metro station. Please call Chris, 301-864-2822.
