Air Conditioning
Anyone ever add air conditioning to their MX-3? Someone told me it wasn't cheap to do?

Re: Air Conditioning
It is a difficult process. It took about 4 hours of labour. And yes it is expensive, Costed me $1300 Cnd. The best thing to do is purchase the parts off someone on this bullentin board. It'll be cheaper that way.<BR>~Dean

Re: Air Conditioning
I did add a/c to my 92 soch. I installed a 94 compressor: this way I could fill it with r134 without retrofit. I bought the parts from a scrap yard and installed them myself. Cost me 700$cnd + 50$ for belts, o-rings,... and 85$ to have the a/c checked for leaks and filled up with r134. I used the online workshop manual as a guide and it took me about 4 days to complete the installation.

Re: Air Conditioning
Different years have different model compressors or something? I noticed someone selling a 93 compressor and I have a 95 GS. Fit ok?
