Can You BP SWAP? READ THIS

If you live in the east coast... I live in PA, anyway. Do you know how to do the BP swap? Have you done it? Can you get engines and transmissions at reasonable prices( heh ebay has it for like 450 for a BP anyway....

I can't do mechanical, I can do electrical, anyway.

Bubbaflaat was doing installions of the KLZE in minnosota for $400 plus got the stuff for $950....ANYWAY again

I'm looking for someone that can quote me a near exact price for them to do my BP swap with my help, meaning I'll be there the whole time helping out heh.

Or if someone has some info on like (i got my BP completely installed and order from this shop for this much)

I'm not even sure if I need a better or new tranny so you guys are smarter then me. I was going to go BPT but I decided I would rather turbo it later if I ever got the need, but since i have 160k on the engine well it's time for something with a bit less.

If you can give me a good good price I'll think about paying you to help me to struts springs and other stuff while we do the engine.....Could

Over here in el paso texas a bp engine would run around 300 dlls to 600. Most of the yards give me the 300 dlls price. To swap it out, a shop here charges around 200 to 400. Thats one near my house, others will charge up to 1000. If your transmission is manual and you have no problems with it, I see no reason to swap it. maybe just the clutch, if its automatic, Im not sure. my moms escort gt has that auto tranny and it has over 150k miles and no problems at all.
