Or.....And this could be a long-shot, I'll buy an Mx-3 in your area and then just fly up when the trac bars are done. Obviously there are details to iron out....But its an idea.

 stop the madness! That is too much work to make traction bars only 2 members are going to buy. Not because the product is bad. Its A VERY great product. I have been using mine for a year and some change and am very happy with it. I have yet to get an impression with me putting KLZE power to the ground but im sure it will perform. Its just most members dont have the funds. You would never see any profit from your crazy plan.

As far as replicating them I think they HAVE to be built on the car. Or at least tested on a car So they are a perfect fit before being shipped out....

its far to risky to buy a random mx3. mind you im looking for one that has a completely straight front end & isn't all smashed to s--- where the tow hooks are(any mx3 owner knows about that one)

Come spring time, I can drive up there and you can use my mx as a template. It has a sizable dent on the driver side fender, but I don't think that would have screwed up anything down below. as for towhooks, I'll have to see the condition of them. I never looked, lol.

Good news!!! i happened to find another bar from the first batch that had gotten misplaced (don't ask how lol)
but anyway it'll give me some good insight & probably help me get those 3 bars whipped up!!

so this means there will be 4 bars in total. not 3

I'll update when i have more info/bars made

Well i have some good news!

its slightly above freezing in Wisconsin here now. and i was able to tow home
My old KL mx3 (teal one first pictured used to build the prototypes & further bars)
turns out it wasn't sold off as i had thought.
But- the KL in it has some curse that it doesn't like timing belts- either that or i apparently can't install them right after 5 belts

Regardless i have to swap in another KL engine & get it running again- But i will once again have a straight car to build more traction bars from.

pricing will be set at $350 shipped- ****contact me for international shipping/quotes****

4 bars will be made
beyond that anyone who desires one would have to mail me in a perfect set of tow hooks to build from.

I will update when i have the car up & running again.

Awesome news man!!

It will have to wait until after I finally decide which route I'm going with the swap, but I do plan on sending you a towhook and some cash. :welder:

How come the price has gone up from 270$ to 350 $ ?

Also, if I'd get you some tow hooks, what would it do to the price ?
