No need to be so patronizing, everyones gotta start somewhere.

And what are you doing on a civic forum haha? Honda forums tend to be the most helpful but at the same time the most ignorant, large member base contributes to that methinks.

Without my MX3, I am useless. I must fire up my MX3 true. I must drive straighter than any Honda driver who is trying to own me. I must own him before he owns me.

Honestly, I wasn't judging his lack of knowledge... I agree, we all need to start somewhere.

This is more what I found hopelessly pathetic, and all too common:
i know i should've just bought a Ebay catback!!! only 130..i can install it myself.
That, and the recommendation of 2.5" exhaust piping for his stock 4 banger.

To his credit, he claims to hate the sound of a fart can.
At least a few of the people who responded knew what they were talking about, and managed to throw in a little punctuation while they were at it.

Side note, how in the hell do you wield a muffler?
just the piping. they charge me 100 bucks..then 90 dollars to wield my own muffler..WTF!
Lock and load big guy, lock and load.

The Mx-3 didn't get a resonator, the Xterra currently doesn't have one either. The truck could use one maybe, but the Mx-3 was in the same boat and when I put in a cat, it quieted right down, I expect the truck to do the same. Apparently V6 and 4cyl's react diffferently cause they don't quiet down with cats, so I've read on here and my buddy's EG K20 didn't change much for sound either...
