Thats little random thing on the top of the disty? my cousin had the same issue but his car wouldnt start at all untill he shook the wire n moved it around a bit.

noo. its apart of the coil im pretty sure tho. the 3 prong plug on the back side of the 6 prong plug is the coil. multi-meter and test the 2 outter prongs on the 3 prong plug. should be 11.5-18ohms.

So just as an update to this if anyone cares =P

So O2 Sensor solved most of the problems I was having.
Cleaned MAF and TB
Went though and checked all Vacuum hoses
Changed Spark plugs and wires
Checked Disti
Checked timing
Replaced fuel filter

The last thing i did.. and i did it sunday before the superbowl
Was check and adjust the TPS

That probably made the single largest difference out of everything. Altho im sure everything i did prior didnt hurt!
It is like driving a completely different car. I can press on the gas pedal no matter the RPM / gear
and it just GOES!

yay for all the MX-3 guys/gals!!!!
