[WTB] KL-DE 5 speed trans speed sensor

Post by tbondo »

I am looking for a working transmission speed sensor for a KL-DE 5 speed. The transmission was originally out of a 97 Ford Probe. Let me know what you have. Thanks

Are you sure they're not the same as the MX3 SS's?

I honestly don't know. I have the 5 speed tranny from the probe I used for my swap and my spedometer is not functioning. I assumed I need a new sensor.

Your trans is out of an OBD2 car and your driving an OBD1 car. Call a parts store and ask for the sensor part number for each car. If they're the same fine if not buy or find a MX3 speed sensor.
