In my area its exspecially hard to find parts. Yeah I also have anytime to work on anything. I wish I was already retired with loads of cash Haha. Ayways I'm leaving for Japan on Friday and I'm hoping while I'm there I will find lots of oem stuff.

Re: Ohsnapsitsbri - 1993 MX-3 GS
unless you know someone who's familiar with the auto industry in japan, your not gonna have much luck.
Also if you're gonna be traveling to major cities, your not gonna have much luck, most "junkyards" or places like that are in rural areas
if you are gonna be in major cities my suggestion is to look up Upgarage locations and go to them and see.
here's a link to look up their locations

Re: Ohsnapsitsbri - 1993 MX-3 GS
I don't call them that personally, but lowered imports(especially the multi-colored 4 door Hondas-.-) with Altezzas, body kits, fart cans, etc. are EXTREMELY common in the southwest part of Eugene, which is predominantly populated by Mexicans. I never understood the stereotype until I moved to West Eugene, but I'd have to be blind to deny the truth of it. :/ I always thought it was ignorant people running their mouths, before seeing it first hand.

Re: Ohsnapsitsbri - 1993 MX-3 GS
Thanks! I've been waiting for a bar to pop up stateside for a while, shipping them is ridiculous...Ohsnapsitsbri wrote:I will deffently be going to upgarage. I will keep my eye.out for your ms stb. If my '92 had silver badges, I'd probably go for the silver Altezzas too, but I'm feeling the black ones for my future paint job.

Re: Ohsnapsitsbri - 1993 MX-3 GS
Bri,
Don't worry about parts hun.... I have all (most) of the parts you might need.
I have three 3's (running) and... well.... a LOT of parts cars... all of which are SE's... ( :
I live in the south (i'm from PDX) MX-3's are O'PLENTY here in Mississippi.... (non running) that is...
It's easy to come by an MX-3 for less then $300.00 bucks here. (SCORE)

Oh really, well I had no luck in japan anyways, no one even knew what a mx-3 is there. However I did have an awesome trip. Then on you're trip home you should also bring some "gifts" for us over here where its harder to find parts. hahaa

It wasnt called a mazda mx-3 over there chief, maybe if you would of asked about a eunos presso, autozam az-3, eunos 30x, or maybe EC5S it would have worked and hope you had a blast on your trip!
