It usually sits right next to the Thurnongulator.

yeah i got hoodzys CAI in that spot, and when i removed this thing i seen now i get more fresh air without cutting anything :mrgreen:

I removed mine the last time I changed my blinker fluid.

I threw that part away a long time ago on both cars when I had my CAI running to the fender.

Nope...too risky. If you get a ground fault in the thurnongulator your catastrophic converter can implode depending how many G's you're pulling.

I just can't justify the added danger for what?...half a jansky of added flux?

well as long as he verifies his quiddance within .05-1.5 flaxons tolerance, he shouldn't have to worry for now, but node corrosion could change everything in an instant if it's not shielded, so I wouldn't skimp, even if you had to add three janskies, it's worth it. few dollars now could save your digitarious from roasting off.

the paper/asbestos stuff attached to the hood...i remember reading somewhere its just for sound proofing (which i could care less about)...is that correct?do i really need this? <--- :lol:

In case your engine catches on fire, the plastic clips melt and it falls on the engine.

You'll need to cut a hole above the rear wheel when you relocate the battery, and hook that pipe up to it, and the battery box.
