:confused2:

In the scheme of an engine swap, you're put off by this matter?

I really don't understand. Its like 15min of work if you do your research on what ECU pin you're dealing with.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

it will run without them btw...

If you wanted the knock sensor you would still have to run them for the SOHC B8

that's pretty much it, I'm lazy. I want as little effort (and time) as possible for this. as close to directly "plug and play" as I can. my car, my decision.

honestly, the easiest way is to just buy a 94-95 mx-3, with the B6D. More power power, better curve with VICS, and better milage than the b8, with less fitment issues. The B8 is wider than the B6. I mean, if you're lazy, why would you bother touching the engine bay, removing an engine when you can get away with spending less money, no working, and a better engine? All-win situation for slackers!

ok, so a b8 swap isn't my best idea. I guess when the time comes, I'll either sell the car or re-ring the b6.

OMG... so lazy...

Why not just go to the wrecker and pull the engine bay wire harness from a pro LX or escort GT... then you don't have to run the wires for the knock....

AS I said earlier a BP will run without the knock sensor hooked up just fine... I NEVER ran the extra wires on mine.
