Re: kulluminati777's 1993 Who knows what it is....
I don't know if I would ever notice a difference, it would be miniscual at best
I think it's more for aesthetics than anything... The MS rear bar for the BG is a thin little round one piece if that gives you any indication of what the MS engineers thought a car like this needed and considering they didn't make one for the mx-3 I wonder what they really thought!

Re: kulluminati777's 1993 Who knows what it is....
Oh, I see the difference between a Type 1 and 2! Mine was a type 1 of course (being that the type 2 didn't exist) and I really liked it, I liked the adjustability on it, allowed me to tweak my rear stiffness for autocross.
I never understood why it's suck a big deal to fit an CS front bar on a ZE. I fit mine with my curved neck IM AND Outlaw Spacers, for a few dollars for some nuts and bolts, but would rather spend twice the price on a MS strut bar, IF you can find one?
My CS front bar was the first handling upgrade I did on my Mx-3 and I loved it right away. The rear didn't go in until a few weeks later because of the obvious work needed to install it if you want to keep your interior. My ZE swap happened about a year after that and as much as I loved the new found power, I did really miss my CS bar for the many weeks it was off until we figured out how to get it mounted.
Never ran the eBay bars, so I can't compare, but it was said back then (there was many serious autocrossers back then too) there was a big difference between, so why skimp out? Never ran the MS bar, so I can't compare between the CS and the MS, but the modified mounted CS felt no different than the unmodified one.

Good stuff on the badge! I seen a Roadster with one of those badges, if I was a scumbag I would have popped it right off
And big chrome rims are so the anti the Japanese performance and Mazdaspeed ethos, its like a big contradiction that you've got all that great gear and then those rims. Ruins the car for me, but its your pride and joy so by all means do what makes you happy! I'm sure people would do things differently with my car but hell if I'm gonna listen

Re: kulluminati777's 1993 Who knows what it is....
are those brembo calipers real? i love everything about the car except those rims and the intake scoop. it should look awesome with those msr-01's though. it looks like your project is coming close to completion?
ps, i havnt gone threw your entire worklog but what did you do with the rear lip? looks like a gs front lip and something else you added? it looks nice.

Yes thats why im a little hesitant to put it on...im sure no one will take it but if u knew how much they go for and it gets taken then i wont be a happy camper
and yeah the japanese performance no (i have a k8 so the LAST thing im trying to do now is win any races) but V.I.P tuning is a hit in japan but as soon as my RAYS valve stems come in the mail ill be putting the tires on my MS-01's and posting some pics
and just a side note mazdaspeed wasnt 100% against chrome.....

the rsx rear lip, did you use the original mounting points or did you have to make new holes?
