Well you know how the VIN works, the last (I think 6 numbers?) determines the number it came off the production line. You can gauge more or less when it came off the production line by asking others around here about their VINs and estimating its DOB. Mine is lower 800's if that helps.

I think the first two numbers in the last 6 are for something else, cause I'd be 110,8xx, and obviously, there weren't 100,000 MX-3s produced at launch, (i don't even know if total MX-3 production totals that much). But I guess go by the last 4 or 5

N is 1992 Model Year.

So, I'm assuming that would mean my car is either 8161, or more likely 108161?

That tag ist a sold date, that tag idicates a production date
