Do you guys know if a stock 1994 323 intake from a 1.6L engine will work for my 95 DOHC B6? Found a guy in calgary who is selling one for 20 bucks and I'm interested in rigging up a hybrid style intake for my mx3 if the one I'm rigging up right now.

Thanks for the info Ryan, but it was a dud :( Seller listed it as full intake but really only had the air box.

I think for a thread like this, it doesn't matter so much....

But I think there is a version of this in the 4 cyl section, unless I deleted it due to redundancy.

I'm sure I don't have to point out the obvious in the technicality of the location and the thread and the topics herein

And here I thought you were an engineer, you know, accuracy, precision, logical :P Do I need to make a mathmatical formula

Re: The "Quick Question" Thread

Maybe it will be sound like a dumb question but I'm really out of options.
Which head of my mx-3 v6 engine is the left one?
I got error code that indicated that my left head O2 sensor is dead.
Been in several repair shops and they give me different opinions about which one is the left head! It's making me confused because it's pretty expensive to change O2 sensor, just to put it into wrong place.
Any help please?
tried to google this question- no dice :(
And second question- what is the difference between original O2 sensor(costs ~160$ ) and universal O2 sensor(costs ~50$).
Thanks in advance!

Turn the engine so the timing belt and water pump are at the front of the car then reconnoiter from there. Front is lh. and rear is rh. Rh is 1, 3, 5 and lh is 2, 4, 6.,,,,I think.

Dan is right.

For future reference, in a RWD application the transmission is on the back, so turn so the tranny is "below" the engine, that orients you for left and right.

Just make sure you get a Denso sensor. Its OEM quality.

The difference between universal and the other ones is the universal ones don't have the car-specific plug on it, so you need to solder on the old plug from your old O2. For the money you save, you can pay yourself $20 and hour, buy a $30 soldering iron, and still be in the green.

I am currently running a 95 V6 for my winter driver. has over 320k. Would this be worthwhile swap? Note: This is my beater MX3, my good one (currently undergoing bodywork) will have the ZE.

This MX is in decent shape body wise, and i want to keep 2 MX3's.

That site is bulls---.

Show a millenia motor, call it a KLDE, and give you KLZE specs.

Just go get a scrap yard Probe/MX-6 engine for $150.

Hey Ryan

My .. ermm, radiator cap housing .. is seeping coolant. In a strange place too, it's not a seal, it's come through the corner of the plastic .. like the corner in a L

I'd love to know excatly what to call that thing so I can google for another.
The lacal mazda dealer can get me one for the novice price of .. $183 .. for what looks like a bit of plastic .. The dutch in me refuses.

Can post a pic if you dont know what I'm on about
It's a 91 model if that helps. (K8)

Thanks!
