Stance Products.

Post by racycle »

Dose anyone here have any experience with Stance products? I was talking to a Stance represenitive and they say they have made coilovers for the mx-3 before.

They also asked me for any measurements I could give retaining our stock setup. Dose anyone here have a extenseive diagram or such for our setup's actual size measurements? I have been killing the search engine but have not been able to find any actual measurements. Also is our setup universal to all mx-3 makes and models?

what size reference are you refering too ?! heigh, width , girth of the strut? top plate assembl;y? spring rate?

if they have made them before you would assume they know all that already...

how much do they cost out of interest :)

Here is the last email I got,

Hey Arthur,
Could you possibly measure the outer diameter for me? We changed the diameter of the damper at one point. As far as the cost, I can just do $40 shipped for all four. Let me the diameter, in MM preferably, and I can get them shipped out to you right away.
Thanks,
Scott

As for a price, I will propbley get one within the next email. As i'm guessing it will vary between the (5?) models and which ones they are willing to make for our car.

I would go outside and measure mine myself but I am pretty far away from my car right now. :P

So I got a reply back....sadly it's not so good.

Hey Arthur,
I apologize, I responded to your email with a response that was meant for a different email. As of right now we do not have an application for your car and it is not in line for development currently.
Thanks,
Scott

Do you guys know of any other suspension setups from other cars that are plug and play for us?

Thats a shame...

When it comes to coilovers they are MX-3 specific, so I would recommend buying ones that fit from either XYZ, K-sport or D2 seeing as they are readily available.

XYZ Super Sport kit is great for a daily driver :)
