Haha I think my car might be 20, too... Because its an import, the original VIN plates have been removed (they were in Japanese), and the Mazda dealership wasn't able to tell me its exact age, either. The licencing plates say its a '92, but the seatbelts say '91 on them... I think it must've been a nov/dec '91 or early '92...?
It makes me very sad to not know the exact age of my car! I wanted to give it a birthday cellebration! Hahaha (not that I can afford to give it any birthday presents just yet!)
I think that mine is the youngest... she`s nov/97 ...... =P

Problem is, mine doesn't have one! I think it must've been removed when the car was imported. There's a compliance plate over where one would expect to find a VIN, but that only says it was imported in '98...
Trust me, I've checked!
Miguelitto, mx-3's were made until '98 - there are stacks of the '98 model in Australia! They must have done a large price cut towards the end of it's production, as '98 and '96 (when it received an update) seem to be the most common ones here!

The Mx-3's were sold for the 1998 model year, which means a car sold in 98 would of been made in 97, but since his is for November, makes me wonder if any where actually made in 98
