Looks pretty good. If mazda came out with something like that I'd be all over it

I'd take out a car loan for it, if there was a V6 model. :freak:

It is basically an RX-8, just shortened and given a few mx-3-esque styling hints (such as the rear hatch glass & the way the doors/window frame looks/works). It would never work though - Note the lack of a frame to the rear hatch glass, meaning the glass would have to be stationary, but the boot lid is too short/small to be functional in that size! There's always something these computer geeks forget to think of when they come up with such amazing com-gen images!
It does look amazing, though - I totally think it'd be possible to make one with RX-8 parts & a shorter chassis!! Haha... I'd like to give it a crack, at least! haha

I think its pretty sweet myself. but with owning a RX-8 and being a huge fan of the Mx3-. Its like my two worlds have some together. As for the hatch not opening, Im willing to be it will have trunk space instead of the hatch. Which reverts back to being more like the rx8. If they come out with something like this though. I will sell my house. lol

Side note: You don't have to have an exterior frame around the rear glass for it to open. I believe the Ford Probe has an interior window frame. That car could very well be a hatchback still! :D

Now if that was rotary hydrogen and weighed in at 2000lbs that would be fun with rwd of course.

It's just a concept rendering. It doesn't have to be functional. And it's unlikely that it was done by anyone associated with Mazda. Probably just a car nut hobbyist like us who's good with surface modeling.

I know this thread is old but anyway if that concept "mx3" wouldn't have such a round rear end; it would be very cool looking.
