Is your intake manifold based upon something or calculated ? Or just out of the blue?

My intake is based on the one Dan [Sac] from probetalk had custom fabricated for his now defunct drag car. His was much nicer though, being all aluminum and professionally welded.

I made a video for those who were curious about the current state of the car.

Haha, thanks! I did the voice-over separate, sitting in my bedroom with a Zoom H1 stereo microphone. Still gotta get my Shure SM57 wired up and working with my computer. I'm trying to be more media savvy.Evo_Spec wrote:you sure do got a sexy commentator voice =P
The car was in the shop I work at, but my boss wasn't particularly fond of me leaving it in there, so I had it towed to my house before the MX-West meet last summer in Kelowna.

I'm looking forward to seeing her run.
For some reason, hearing Canadians speak makes me happy.

*Hack! Cough! Wheeze!*
Oh... I'm alive.. and so is the project.
I'm in Alberta, and finally trailered the car over. Tonight I bought an engine stand to throw my spare, but not running, KL on. I think the timing tensioner went on it, so I plan to get it ready to run and then use it as the test mule to get the Celica moving and have it pass inspection. Then it's on to fool with the built KL.
Pics to come.
