Happy to Be Here :)

Post by staticvex »

Greetings!!!!

My name is Veronica and I'm a 25 year old Canadian gal, living in beautiful British Columbia.

I've been an avid fan of all things MX-3 since I was 16. This was going to be my first car, I told myself. I made all sorts of plans for my future MX-3 (performance and body related). Somewhere along the way I even stumbled across this site and my knowledge of these cars shot through the roof.

Fast forward nine years - and I finally just bought my MX-3!! It's a '92 RS, stock everything. And I'll be honest up front - I don't know much about cars. I used to hang out with lots of car buffs in my teenage years, so I'm not a complete stranger, but I will certainly need help working on this car. Luckily, my mother-in-law's boyfriend works on and restores cars. But the work will certainly be slow-going and dependent on my cash situation. Having just moved to BC due to my man taking a job offer, I am still looking for work and extra cash is kind of non-existent.

Regardless, I am incredibly happy to finally own my dream car and I look forward to joining this community of fellow MX-3 lovers.

So I now present to you, my baby!!

Everyone I've shown this pic asks if that's a dent on the front - the body is in perfect condition, I guess it's just the way it reflects?

Here's it is parked next to my man's Infinity. Aren't they gorgeous together!

Well that's all for now folks! Nice to meet you all :)

Welcome :)

We're always glad to have new members, especially ones who can use punctuation. Whoo!

I suggest you start a worklog and you can lay out all your plans in there.

The search feature is awesome once you get a hang of it, the link is in the red bar at the top of the page.

Then, if you can't find what you're looking for, feel free to start a new thread and someone will be glad to help you out.

If you're looking for somewhere to start, just read through all the threads in the FAQ. That should keep you busy for a few days.

Welcome Veronica, my friend Betty and Dilton say Hi too. Reggie has been thinking about joining but his friend Jughead keeps talking him out of it. My buddy Moose Mason has the same car as you and he loves it but claims it's a tight fit to get in and out?? Welcome to the site and enjoy your MX-3. Archie

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Daninski - nice Archie comic reference... very subtle ;) Actually, it gave me quite the laugh. Surprisingly I don't hear too many of those jokes anymore.

Let me first apologize to your man, because I respect everyone in relationships... but 25 driving a mx-3? I would have to hit on you. I'm very very sorry, but the truth is the truth. And I'm engaged too. Please be understanding.

I'm going with the "It's better to ask forgiveness than permission" statement here.

Just think about it... A stunning man like me, and a obviously beautiful woman such as yourself, both 25, both love mx-3's. An unlikely love story you and I, me from Tennessee, and you from British Columbia, both our roads crossing paths at forums.mx-3...
