I used Kyb with h&r.Very Good handling with 205/45/16 especially in high speed.Riding quality was awful and it was the main reason that i put back the oem springs..

I was planning on replacing my Tokico zx2's with kyb's....

currently the ride is rough as hell, unless you hit the bumps hard. Its actually worse in the cabin to slow down for speed bumps than to hit them full bore.

I don't know if I'm explaining it right.

Its like I have NO suspension idling over rough terrain, but if I hit it fast enough its excellent suspension, almost like the spring rate is way too high, and the momentum makes the car "seem" heavier to the springs.

So its very comfortable racing and handling it rough, but if I try to baby it, it tries to compact my spine. She likes it rough.

OHHHHHH i get what your sayin now. yah my cars the same way..not "feeling like no suspension at all" tho. but when i take it slow over rail road tracks and speed bumps it does feel rough but i know im safe, cause just knowing that hitting them at a high speed will cause something to break, i let the suspension do its work.

I concur, I have seen a couple of Protege guys running Koni Yellow's and I have been looking into it as Koni says there is no yellow that will fit the MX strut. I need to take some measurements but they would be sweet to have, to be able to adjust the dampening without taking them apart :) If i upgrade i will probably upgrade to some kind of Frankenstein set of Yellow's and my GC's.

I think ultimately if one could get a hold of a set of MS struts and Eibachs that would be the BEST set up for overall performance.
