fuel pump.....????

i have a 92 mx-3 v6 iand i believe my fuel pump is gone im not getting fuel to th engine. and i have a new fuel pump at home for my old 1.6l is the fuel pumps the same or are they different????

Same, but try jumping F/P and GND in the DIAG box, and turning they key to ON.

If the pump doesn't run then, then its the pump.

Have you ever looked in the DIAG box? Its just a bunch of female pins. Jump F/P and GND with a paperclip.
