Hey all, I'm doing a clutch job and I cant get the transmission fully off. It's about 3/4 an inch off the engine held up by a jack and all it wants to do is spin, it wont come off. Did I miss something? I'm pulling pretty hard.... reamed on it with a few different pry bars. Any advice? I haven't taken off a tranny in like 5 years, so....

you must have forgotten to detach something maybe a plug or wire it should slide right off.

If uve reefed on it and it hasnt moved. it wouldnt be a plug holding it on lol. it would just break. ever think about that rod that sticks out of the transmission and goes into the middle of the flywheel..? lol. and if u cant get it out. pull the whole motor with it. i dont know why people dont do that instead. makes it 100 times easier. good luck!
