Had some fun at the local track, was my first track experience with MY Rx-8 Was a great shakedown on the car, and she'll need the coil upgrade if I want to do this more often. But was great to get my speed on!
Back stretch was the longest, I'd hit upto 160km/h. The fun part was that there was this tight U bend right before the back straight, which sucked cause I would almost need to downshift into 1st for it; I'd be coming out of it in 2nd gear at 4000rpms, which of course, when driving a rotary, is way too low in the powerband. One thing I didn't know about when I had the Mx-3 was about late-apexing a corner; come into a corner, brake later and harder, turn in sharper and hit the 2/3 apex of the corner. Was able to gain an extra 1500rpms coming out of the corner, helped alot.

Through Touge.ca it was $110 paid on location, $83 prepaid, that's for the full track. Short track was $40, $35 prepaid, but it got cancelled for bad weather, but man, I can't see myself doing anything but the longer track, it was awesome!
