[GI] 92 Mx-3 KLZE trade for commuter car. MN/WI

Hey everyone. I have a 92 MX-3 with a KLZE swap I'm looking to get rid of. I need a more reliable/better gas mileage beater, and this is my only vehicle.

Specs

just under 100k miles
KLZE (40kish)
MT swap (90kish)
paint is kinda ugly
headers, CAI, custom exhaust
running in dummy mode - knock sensor
key wont start car - installed push button starter

many misc parts you can take with you (k8 motor, acessories, etc)

This would be a great car for someone who wants to do a KLZE swap into a nicer MX-3, or they just want to have a fun project to sink some money and care into.

I've been driving it as my main transportation for the past 5k or so miles, so you can drive it home if you live nearby. The car is in Grantsburg, WI.

has k8 IM, newer CAI than in picture

stray cat is an a-hole. lived in my car for awhile when it was sitting in my garage. Had to vacuum the whole car because I'm allergic.

That first picture looked familiar and the only person i remembered owning a GS (at one time, maybe due to seeing his sig) in WI was neli_nael. Now that I look back at your old posts, you've been trying to sell this car for a LONG freakin' time! lol.

ANYWAY, I might be interested in it in about a month or two if you still have it then. Current fundings need to go elsewhere right now.

Can you get any current pics? Me no wants a rusty car, I have enough of them, lol.

yeah I'll get some current pics here soon. maybe I'll take the cam out for a spin if i can figure out how to mount it.

It pretty much looks the exact same. I have barely driven it because I had other transportation so it's been in a garage. Once I lost my other car to a bad tow, I was stuck with either fixing the mx-3 or having no car, so I fixed it. (Well, it's not a prefect car, lol)

I've had a lot of snags and wrench time put into this over the years. I started the swap in 2004 and then went to college. Didn't touch it till about 2007, fixed it, ignition switch went out and I didn't touch it again till this march. Put in some new gas and a push button starter and it came to life once again.

It needs work to be a good daily driver. I've been doing it anyways, but it's def. not 100%.

I'll keep you all updated.

He's looking for a commuter car that gets better mileage than his Mx-3. I doubt a 4.0L V8 really fits that category with a 23mpg highway. The Mx-3 ZE or not should exeed 30mpg. My buddy decided to get a GS400 despite that he drove over 200km a day back and forth to work; that didn't work out so well....

I'm willing to sell it too I guess. Just seeing who's interested,what it's worth, etc.

I'm currently uploading a little drive time to youtube, and I'll post it here. The mic on the camera is pretty bad, the idle sounds like a deisel engine on it, lol. Need to wash'er too. Pretty dirty.

I notice a CEL, what you running for ECU?

What's the other dash light that's on the right side?

It's because of the Knock Sensor. Also, it's k8 ecu.

Other lights are HOLD light because its an AT/MT swap and the seat belt light.

New one. The car does NOT sound like that, the camera audio is really bad. I guess bass= pop for the cam.

The car is really dirty still, what you see isn't rust, it's just dirt.

And yes, my hand is really that white. :p
