HEY GUYS, IM AN ENGINE MAN. BUT UNTIL NOW I'VE MAINLY WORKED ON US MOTORS,350 ETC.. I HAVE READ A POST ABOUT THESE 4CYL ENGINES HAVING PROBLEMS, SOME BEING OIL LEAKS. MY CAR HAS 40K MILES ON IT,5SPEED. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I NEED TO LOOK OUT FOR? :confused:

Please don't write in caps.<P>4 cyl sohc requires you to keep an eye on the sparkplugs, from my experience with them they seem to work loose. get timing belt changed around 60k miles. regular oil changes and it should not give any trouble if the engine is in good shape. none of my previous mx-3s had oil leaks or problems. :roll:

i've had three vavle cover gaskets replaced since august. that wa b/c the local shops suck though. leaks have been a problem with me, but like i said everything was fixed correctly by the dealership.
Looking for a 94+GS for KL-ZE fun :)
