^^^^^Lol.
Well a nice big air filter arrived today.

Going to price up some stainless pipes to replace the rubber air pipe and free up some more air flow (will also look a lot nicer).

Ratting is huge and has been around since the very early days. That RX7 is actually used on the drag strip and drift and shoots out huge flames from the exhaust, it's quite immense.Nd4SpdSe wrote:Apparently it's a bigger thing that I thought...

Re: My 1.6 16v
Dude something is wrong with you..
Seriously.
If you wanted to end your car you could have made it parts and sell them individually...So you would have taken back some money you spend.
For a moment i thought you where there inside..

FYI you're posting this to people who actually appreciate this car, if you don't like MX-3's or any Mazdas then maybe you should buy a Hon-duhWhat an utter waste of time and money, I'll never go back again to this make of vehicle!

Funny because you seemed to like it judging by your previous posts and all the time and work you put into it.

Re: My 1.6 16v
I got £200 for crushing the car, have sold little parts for about £50 and I still have 2 sets of wheels to sell (and other parts still to sell). None of the body panels were straight (or worthwhile). I've stripped cars to sell previously and it is a pain in the arse having a rotting heap sat on my property. I did the best thing really. The engine was screwed, so nothing worthwhile there, the suspension components were f**ked, so not worth taking off. I'm not stupid when it comes to things like this, there isn't a market in the UK for these so I did the best thing really. Cut my losses and save my stresses.DeadMaker wrote:Dude something is wrong with you..Seriously.

Put it this way, if your car was going to cost you the price of a second hand car to keep going would you bother?
Yeah, too right I'll buy another Honda, at least my old Civic had the balls. Pfft 108bhp from a 1.6 16v DOHC, what a joke! How come Honda manage to get nearly 150bhp from a 1.6 16v DOHC? And at least I could get some good tuning parts for it then too, not just sh*tty ebay garbage.Jovian2k wrote:FYI you're posting this to people who actually appreciate this car, if you don't like MX-3's or any Mazdas then maybe you should buy a Hon-duhWhat an utter waste of time and money, I'll never go back again to this make of vehicle!![]()

Re: My 1.6 16v
Heh, you get all defensive when people were judging your mods to the car, than, you crush it and call it a POS.
If you bought a 1.6 for performance reasons, than you're choice was wrong to begin with. Mazda decided to go the V6 route for better feel, powerband, smoothness and sound. Was the smallest V6 at the time. Mazda does their own thing, their own way (see, rotary, K8, Miller-Cycle, SkyActiv). Must cause Honda got some high-hp out of their 1.6, doesn't mean everyone else should do it.

Ok dude go and buy honda..In the first corner you will be out of the road facing a tree in your face.
And btw about hp that you said.In 1.6 version we have the OEM choice of bpt engine gtr or gtx.
