Comments on MX3, Mightbe buying it.

Post by ftonz »

Hi Guys

I'm looking at buying my third MX3, I've owned a 1991 V6 version, and a 1996 1.5l 4cyl.

Kicking myself everyday for selling such great cars, I have found this one ...
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =347088380

Here in New Zealand, they are labeled as either a Eunos Presso , or a AZ3.
So this one stands out, being registered when entering the country as a MX3, and having come from a Mazdaspeed factory.

Has anyone seen one of these?, I wasn't even aware there were the Mazdaseed varient's untill coming across this one.

Any comments on this year of the MX3.

Cheers guys
Dean

Definitely a nice looking car. Inside seems retro for some reason, but that's not a bad thing.

Well
Had a chat to the guy, the car is 5 hours away so getting a family member who lives there to take a look at it.

Guy says it's in good mechanical condition , bar some "weak vavle stem seals"

So from what I've heard, thats costly to fix, but doesn't have to be done, and opinions?

Cheers

That interior is unique and looks like the orange just needs a cleaning. I wouldn't call weak valve stem seals a 'fu*ked up motor'. That comment has no merit.

Wow!

I had no IDEA Mazda had a special edition like that. After all these years of being on MX-3.com.... I always thought that Mazda having a special edition like that... was just a myth.
