Just to add a note to this question about the knuckels and steering:
The 93 and 94 knuckels actually have different steering arms too. I cannot remember for sure, but I think the 94s have longer arms. So if you replace your 93 arms (and ball joints) with 94s and do not get an alignment then you are going to end up with some mest up Toe-out or Tow-in. = wear out some tires really fast. I rebuilt some knuckels from scratch too since it was easier and no down time. That is when I discovered the ball joint issue. The car felt stable, until I started to drive and the ball joint fell out, and the knuckle came crashing down on the inside of my wheel... :confused2: Then while looking at why I also noticed the arm difference.
You know the inner tie rod ends wear much more slowly. Are you sure you do not need just the outer rods?

I don't see how the 93' & 94' knuckles can be different and have the same part number. If they were different there would be 2 part numbers.

i know the inner tie rod is bad when I see the gap around the ball in the socket
it was just floating in there

i have not gotten an alignment but will do this weekend.

this morning i heard a whirring sound but it went away, weird
i also need to get my heat shield to stick better.
