Mx-6 ksports?

Post by mx3matt »

So I read slammed6 thread about isntalling mx6 ksports, and I'm wondering if anyone has pics that actually work?
I have the opportunity to pick up a set for dirt cheap and just wanna know if it's worth the effort of modifying the rears to make it fit?
And lastly are the fronts really bolt on?

Yea they will work fine.. I am assuming you are getting a used set? Because they do make mx3 ones now.

Anyways, its pretty simple.. No real effort involved that should make you double think it.. Just knock out one stud in the rear and drill a larger hole for the hub bolts and then washers for the front and you are good to go.

Ya they are used but don't appear to be abused.

So for the rears, knock out a stud making the upper a 3 bolt style, the drill out the lower point where it mounts to the spindle?

Washers on the front upper mount or where it mounts to the spindle?

On the rear knock out the innermost stud to make it a 2 bolt mount. Also drill out the bottom hole so that you can mount to the spindle (you will see when you line up)

As for the front you need washers for the spindle mount, you will also require probe,mx6 or 626 front strut bolts for the spindle as they are longer then the mx3 ones. I don't think. Mx3 ones will work with the added length that you are adding. I think its about 3-4 washers per side.
